Amo Brass Awarded Fischoff’s 2026 Ann Divine Educator Award

May 15, 2026

Norfolk alumni  Amo Brass are recipients of  The Fischoff National Chamber Music Association’s 2026 Ann Divine Educator Award.

The national award recognizes Fischoff alumni for innovative educational programs for children and youth across the US, and building successful careers focusing on both chamber music performance and educational outreach.

Formed in 2020 as a group of friends wanting to safely make music outside during a pandemic, Amo has since graduated from those informal meetings to touring the country. Composed of Yale School of Music alumni, the ensemble — trumpeters Connor Holland and Josh Bialkin, hornist Olivia Martinez, trombonist David Seder, and tuba player Vivian Ku — is based in the Tri-State area and is passionate about education, community engagement, and performance.
