Ways To Give

1. Contributions to our Annual Fund provide critical resources to maintain the level of our performance and educational programs. We depend upon the generosity of individuals, foundations and businesses to keep the Music Shed alive with music each summer. Your gift will support the concerts we have come to know and love, the training of gifted young musicians, and our continued efforts to cultivate and nurture the art of chamber music for future generations. You may wish to dedicate your Annual Gift to a specific Festival need according to your interests. Some suggestions include:

Fellows’ Fund: is used to cover the cost of tuition, room and board which is approximately $2,500.00 per week for each resident Fellow.

Guest Artist Fund: is used to bring world-renowned performers to Norfolk. Recent artists have included Midori, Frederica von Stade and Dave Brubeck.
This season it will be Dawn Upshaw.

Director's Fund for New Initiatives: allows the Festival to explore new programming possibilities, commission new works, and pursue new educational opportunities.

2. Tribute Gifts to the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival provide a thoughtful way to honor someone special in your life, to recognize a special occasion or event (such as a birthday, graduation, anniversary or a simple thank you), or to memorialize a loved one or friend.

3. Bequests and other forms of deferred giving are an ideal way to create a legacy that will help to build our endowment and provide secure funding for future generations of young musicians and music lovers of all ages.
